Update: So glad to see so much work put into updating the app! Thank you team for your continued support ! God bless! This is a huge and much needed update! I was glad to see the notification in the "old version". Thank you EGW Estate for your attention to this great body of work! My iPhone picks up where I stopped when listening to audio. However in order to select and share I have to use the previous edition.

Was super excited that vertical scrolling was brought back in the new update. And doubly as disappointed when I realized it wasnt continuous. I can still only view one "page" at a time and cannot highlight, copy or mark text that spans more than one page. Back to the old version of EGW Writings I go... Again. Very very disappointing. I wish this app was designed more for study than for reading.

I tried to transfer my markings but it only transferred the bookmarks. But none of the highlights were transferred. I have almost 400 highlights and it didnt transfer even one of them. Update: Now with ver 2.0, after it loaded, I started it. It started thinking for a long time then I was alerted that I was out of memory. It is now at 10 GB!! What a memory hog! What are they thinking? The 1st program is only .5 GB and I have all the books downloaded. I dont have room for this new app. The more I use the old app the more I like it. There should be a way of only downloading the portions of the app that we plan on using; Not just the books that we are using! Because the books didnt take up that much room in the 1st app. It must be the program that is so large. I did use this app to access the unpublished letters and manuscripts. So I wish I had never updated to the new version.

I just love using this new version of EGW Writings. The update fixed all my issues that I had with the previous version. I appreciate the integrated search ability the same as egwwritings.org. I like been able to search for a quote in a book. Or go directly to a book and page right from within search. I dont know why some users are complaining about storage space. The last EGW version 1 app took 700GB for 400 books. The new app has over 10,000 books and takes 6.5GB. You only need to download what books you want to. Before you had no choice, now you get to choose. You dont need to download everything. That is what is great about this app as the rest are available to search online at anytime right within the app. Integrating offline and online searching and syncing my reading and listening history to iCloud across all my Apple devices makes this app perfect as my go to study tool. Great app. Thank you.

I completed the update on the IPAD Pro and cant seem to locate the entire bookshelf. What should I do? Please. . .

I really amazed of your work. You did so much, for such a short period of time. I found that I can use Long Tap selection text by word or I can select anything from a single word to multiple pages! Long tap on the first word to select and then long tap on a second word to select all the text between! Its so simple!Love it! And Reading and Listening sync of my last read and listened books - I can do it through all my devices. Im so happy to have this ability. The app is much more stable. I appreciate your hard work. Ill wait for next great updates. Blessings.

This app is an amazingly generous gift of an entire library of Christian devotional and study resources. Both audio and print texts are available of hundreds of great books that have stood the test of time. Jesus is honored here, God is honored here, and the Holy Spirit can use these materials to change lives!! Thank you!

Thank you for your hard work, especially Im greatful for Reading and Listening History with syncing. And Ive got Audiobooks in one place!Its so convenient. I noticed a lot of different improvements, which made my Study easier. Thank you!And I hope to see Advanced search and Dictionary in next updates.

Was so excited at the potential of this app. Trying to use it for personal study and it wont open since last upgrade. Using on iPhone 6. Please fix asap. Thanks.

I installed the latest update on both my iPhone and iPad and my brother installed it on his iPad, it wont open anywhere.

I love this app however the recent update has caused it to stop working I cant even open the app it just stays frozen on the opening screen please fix this!

I was excited to see the update, but as another reviewer said, it takes up enormous amounts of space on my iPad, which I think I could manage, but sadly it wont even open up. Had to delete the app. Please fix! It could be such a great resource!

Its in perpetual crash mode. Since the most recent "upgrade," I cant even get in. The circle of death is all I see. The upgrade sounded wonderful, until I made the upgrade. Now I cant even use the app at all. Cant even email the app developers to let them know of the problem…

Was so excited to try this app, and downloaded every resource, but now it just spins with the wheel of death and wont open. Please release an update.

Im a little disappointed that anything I want to read I have to download...the previous app has all her writings already there. Takes way too much space for all the writings too. App is constantly crashing as well. Im back to the old EGW app!

It was great to see the new app updates and features. I strongly recommend it to everyone who likes to research about SDA pioneers or to read spiritual stuff to improve their personal faith through spiritual reading.

The new version erased all the books I downloaded and cant find where to download them. Its unusable. Please fix.

Still going to the old app for fast searches, as this is very slow, and sometimes locks up completely. The user interface is/will be much better, and I trust it will get better, but its really in beta in my estimation, and Im pretty forgiving of apps.
